Default canonpoint is pre-series, during the long and thoroughly miserable trek up the Kingsroad. Other timeline points and modern AU available upon request. Canon is an unholy mixture of the TV series and books.
Backtagging: Always
Threadhopping: Probably, if it's appropriate-- message me.
Fourthwalling: No, not that he'd actually believe you if you did.
Offensive subjects: None
Hugging this character: Sure, but unless you're family (or Brienne/Bronn at later canonpoints when they have been through some shit together), chances are you'll get the classic Lannister "don't touch me, peasant". Possible exceptions, lost children and people having total emotional breakdowns.
Kissing/etc this character: That's fine, but reactions will definitely vary. However, I'd like to request no one more than ten years younger than him, because despite Martin's apparent age gap kink, I can't deal with a dude in his 30s being involved with teenagers. And he's pretty straight, so fair warning on that one.
Fighting with this character: YES, PLEASE. All the fight threads!
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): For default canonpoint, you can wound him in almost any way you like, but don't permanently destroy his ability to fight or take his sword hand. If you really have a burning need to cut off his right arm, talk to me, but there's a whole barrel of identity crisis shit that goes with that and makes it a lot more complicated. For later canonpoints, don't do anything to further wreck his ability to fight, but otherwise feel free to beat the absolute hell out of him.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure, either write that your character is mindreading in your tag and I'll throw his thoughts in the next tag, or message me and I can tell you what's going on.
Warnings: INCEST. Seriously, incest. He can also, on occasion, have a pretty thoughtless sense of humor, in a "why are you upset, it was just a joke" way, which I can see being upsetting to people who've been through certain things. Other than that, he's pretty standard fare for a morally ambiguous guy with a sword-- prone to solving his problems with violence. doesn't have the greatest grasp on the significance of a stranger's life on account of the fact he's been killing since he was 15, all that. It's worth noting that unlike some people, I definitely play Jaime as a Bad Person with some good traits, not the reverse, and I don't whitewash him or blame his canon actions on other characters.
